A tiny Turkish endemic iris with a penchant for a hot dry summer.

Anybody that knows me will know of my love for irises, particularly the subgenus Iris and the sections of this the Pogon (bearded iris) and Oncocyclus (the Royal irises). I grow quite a number of these and the plants I have for sale are devisions of my parent plants.

A minature Turkish endemic species with tiny foliage and flowers that are increadibly large for the size of the plant. Similar to Iris attica. Likes good drainage and quite a dry summer dormancy.

Money from the sale of these plants will help Oncocyclus Iris conservation in the Middle East.

Fully hardy. 7cm pot.

IUCN Status: Unassessed
